May Gray

It's cool and damp today in the San Fernando Valley as it has been for the last few weeks. It's commonly referred to as May Gray, a combination of gloomy days without a ray of sunshine and cooler than normal temperatures. It descends upon the valley without notice after a weekend of unusually warm temperatures. The weather is ideal for those without allergies or asthma. Living in the valley with mostly sunny days it does make us miss the sunshine. Although, according to the local weatherman has assured us that this May Gray will be gone by this weekend and the temperatures will be back up into the high 90's.
