While Hugh Hefner’s bride-to-be became a runaway bride and GeorgeClooney said so-long to his girlfriend, it was 007 James Bond, played by DanielCraig, who got the girl, just like in the James Bond movies. Craig had no problems meeting his girlfriend at the altar. In a very private ceremony with only four people in attendance, Craig and fiancé Rachel Weisz said, “I Do” and promised to live happily ever after.
I wonder if Clooney was ever offered the role of 007 and maybe turned it down because he knew he’d eventually have to end up with the girl.
Craig has played the role of Bond since Pierce Brosnon stepped down as James Bond. The 007 Bond movies added to Craig’s name include Quantum of Solace which he was nominated for the Empire Award for Best Actor. He stars in the sci-fi drama movie Cowboys & Aliens which opens in theatres July 29th.
