Hi David,
Welcome to The Real Hollywood’s Book Chat,
Thanks for having me.
RH: If your book were sold for movie rights which actor/actress would you want to play the main character?
I think Matt Damon would be ideal in the Cameron Thorne role. He is from Boston, he’s obviously a great actor, and he has a quiet intensity just like Cam.
RH: Who would you want to play the supporting characters?
For Amanda, who is British, perhaps Keira Knightly with her hair dyed blond. She needs to be both intelligent and athletic.
RH: Who is your favorite actor and/or actress?
I’m always amazed at how Meryl Streep actually morphs into the character she is playing. She doesn’t play the role, she becomes it.
RH: Is there a movie you could watch over and over again?
I never get tired of Annie Hall. It makes me both laugh and think every time.
RH: Who is your favorite author? What books have you read by this author?
I just re-read Pillars of the Earth, by Ken Follett, then read the sequel, World Without End. Both books did what great historical fiction should do—leave the reader both entertained and educated.
RH: What is next on the horizon for you?
I’m going to begin on a sequel to Cabal of the Westford Knight this summer. There are many more hidden and fascinating secrets in North American history that have not been explored. Cam and Amanda are ready for another road trip!
RH: Where can my readers find your website?
My website is www.DavidBrodyBooks.com . I also have a blog site that is more interactive, where I update the ongoing research and upload lots of images of the sites and artifacts: http://westfordknight.blogspot.com/
I thank you being sharing your book with The Real Hollywood Blog and I wish you continued success on your virtual book tour.
