Dom Deluise, 1933-2009
If laughter is the best medicine then everyone should watch at least one of the many comedic movies that cast naturally funny actor Dom Deluise. He was probably best known for his movies starring Mel Brooks and Burt Reynolds in Blazing Saddles and Cannonball Run. The 1960’s and 1970’s movies and television were made more memorable because he had a magical talent that made people laugh. Deluise died Monday night with his family by his side at a hospital in Santa Monica, California. If you remember Deluise or want to experience his naturally funny personality for the first time I invite you to watch these thirteen of his many movies;
The Twelve Chairs (1970)
Blazing Saddles with Mel Brooks
Silent Movie
History of the World, Part I
Robin Hood: Men In Tights
*Starring with Burt Reynolds
Smokey and the Bandit
Smokey and the Bandit II
Cannonball Run
Cannonball Run II
The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
The End
Hot Stuff
Note; whenever I watched any of these movies I often wondered how they managed to complete the filming of the movie because it seemed to be non-stop laughter. Have you seen any of these movies and which one(s)?

I loved Dom Deluise, especially when he was paired with Mel Brooks. "History of the World Part 1" is so funny. I keep seeing Dom in his ridiculous choreographer's get up.
Great readingg your blog
